Ali Hakimzadeh
Chairman of the Board / Director
With more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Ali Hakimzadeh brings a wealth of financial and business knowledge to his role as Chairman. Throughout his career Ali has overseen or partaken in more than $1 billion in financing, merger and acquisition activities. Prior to his work with HealthSpace, Ali served as a Director of Investment Banking at Canaccord Financial Corporation. He has a MBA and MA from Simon Fraser University and a B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia.
Joseph Willmott
President / Director
Mr. Willmott has served as President of HealthSpace since 2007. Mr. Willmott has 35 years of business experience that included, more recently, serving as president of Uniserve Communications Corp, a publically traded telecom company, and partner in a business consulting firm for 15 years, Westcap Business Centre. Prior to that, he managed a technology transfer program for the manufacturing sector funded by the Canadian Federal Government. He was also served as chair of the organizing committee for the International Centre for Agricultural Science and Technology and was Chair of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association’s animal health research fund. During Mr. Willmott’s business career he has managed North American manufacturing and wholesale distribution firms. He has also acted as a high level policy advisor to elected government representatives as well as managing a large farm commodity group.
Maureen Garrison
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Maureen Garrison brings more than a decade of experience implementing Software-as-a-Service solutions for environmental and public health departments. Before joining the HealthSpace team in 2015, Ms. Garrison served as the Director of Operations for a leading environmental health software company in the US. She attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Silas Garrison
Chief Technical Officer / Director
As Chief Technical Officer, Silas Garrison leads the design and development of HealthSpace’s suite of software technologies. Prior to joining HealthSpace in a full-time capacity, Mr. Garrison designed and built the company’s industry-first iPad and Android environmental health inspection apps. An entrepreneur by nature, Mr. Garrison has consulted and worked with a variety of enterprise organizations. He is a development expert in a number of programming languages and techniques. Mr. Garrison attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Zula Kropivnitski
Chief Financial Officer
Zula Kropivnitski is a certified general accountant with over 10 years of practice experience, mainly with public companies listed on Canadian stock exchange and TSX Venture Exchange. Ms. Kropivnitski is a CFO of Planet Mining Exploration. (TSX:PXI), Lexagene Holdings Inc. and Meryllion Resources Corporation (TSX: MYR), and former CFO of Electric Metals Inc. (TSX:EMI), and Iron Tank Resources Corp.. (TSX:TNK), companies with a combined market capitalization approaching $80 million. She is also a former controller of African Queen Mines (TSX:AQM) and Sacre-Coeur Minerals (TSX:SCM) with mining interests in Africa and South America. Ms. Kropivnitski was involved in all areas of financial reporting, corporate finance, and related aspects of regulatory compliance. She has over ten years of international experience in the resource sector. Ms. Kropivnitski received her Certified General Accountant professional accounting designation from the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia, Canada and later obtained her ACCA designation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants based in London, UK. She has Master of Mathematics and Master of Economics degrees in Russia.
David Eaton
Director
Mr. Eaton has over 25 years experience in public markets with exposure to all aspects of the business as a trader, financier and market maker. Over his career, Mr. Eaton has started many public companies, managing the process from creating the structure, organizing the initial public offering and post listing administration. As Chairman of Baron Global Financial Canada Ltd., a full-service merchant bank providing ongoing financial and legal back-office support to public companies, Mr. Eaton has a track record of creating companies that bring together solid projects with his network of North American and European investors.
Alnesh Mohan
Director
Mr. Mohan has been a partner at Quantum Advisory Partners LLP, a professional services firm focused on providing chief financial officer and full-cycle accounting services to private and public companies, since 2005.

Mr. Mohan has over 20 years of accounting, auditing and tax experience providing advisory services to a wide array of clients. Acting on behalf of several public companies, Mr. Mohan has acquired considerable experience in financial reporting, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. He spent over a decade working within the big four public accounting firms, including four years with KPMG LLP in Vancouver as a tax manager providing corporate and personal tax consulting and compliance services to clients both in Canada and the United States.

George Moen

Mr. Moen is a serial entrepreneur and business leader who specializes in top-line growth across a variety of industries, including extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. He founded his first business, Sandwich Tree, while in university, and grew the restaurant chain to over a hundred stores across Canada. He subsequently founded and exited a number of successful businesses in technology, media and hospitality. Mr. Moen served as president of Blenz Coffee for five years until 2012, helping the franchise grow to over a hundred locations in Canada, Philippines and Japan. He then served as chief operating officer for Inca One Gold Corp. He sits on the board of directors for Dynamic Oil and Gas Exploration Inc. and CanTest Solutions Inc. He is currently president and chief executive officer of Rothbury Capital, a Canadian real estate investment company with strategic, income-producing investments in multiple U.S. markets.
Peter Smyrniotis

Peter Smyrniotis is technologist, entrepreneur, director to private and publicly-traded companies and commercialization & growth professional. He serves as Chief Commercialization Officer at HealthSpace and is instrumental in developing and executing business development, sales and channel partnership strategies. Mr. Smyrniotis is a graduate of the University of Toronto, with expertise in Technology, Zoology and Anthropology and a Masters in Information Technology from Royal Roads University.
Ian Tostenson

As the dynamic, passionate and forward-thinking president and CEO of the B.C. Restaurant and Food Services Association, Mr. Tostenson combines energy and integrity with proven achievement in all areas of business. Mr. Tostenson spent most of his career leading and successfully growing Cascadia Brands, which owned Calona Vineyards, Sandhill Vineyards, Burrowing Owl Vineyards, Granville Island Brewing, Grady Wine Marketing and Potter Distilling. Mr. Tostenson is an appointed director to the premier's permanent small business roundtable (advising government on issues and opportunities for small business) and took on the challenge as an appointed member of British Columbia's climate team to chart out B.C.'s carbon future. Mr. Tostenson was B.C.'s second chairman for the B.C. Wine Institute, a finalist in the Ernest & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and a recipient of the Business in Vancouver Top 40 Under 40 award. He served on the board as a director and president of the David Foster Foundation for over 22 years, which continues to create a lasting legacy for the benefit of families with children requiring life-threatening organ transplants. He speaks to this cause regularly as well to the cause of H.A.V.E. CAFE, which he co-founded, sharing a passion to change lives in the Downtown Vancouver Eastside.
Steve Lee

Mr. Lee is a dynamic leader and experienced financial executive with a career focused on hypergrowth companies. As an early employee of Mobify, a privately owned SaaS (software as a service) company with a staff size of 160, Mr. Lee successfully secured the company's first financing (plus $10-million), led the M&A (mergers and acquisitions) process of multiple U.S.-based companies, oversaw a 300-per-cent growth in revenue and a 400-per-cent increase in staff with expansion into the United Kingdom and United States, while providing strategic advice to the chief executive officer and board of advisers. Mr. Lee was also an early employee of Slack Technologies, touted as the fastest company to reach a $1-billion valuation. He was instrumental in creating infrastructure and helping to grow and scale the business through multiple rounds of financing and acquisitions. Besides Mr. Lee's expertise in SaaS, M&A and financing of high-growth companies, he also has many years of experience in senior management at Grant Thornton LLP. He is currently chief financial officer for Rothbury Capital, a Canadian real estate investment company with strategic, income-producing investments in multiple U.S. markets. Mr. Lee earned his bachelor of commerce from University of British Columbia and is a chartered professional accountant (British Columbia).
Warwick Smith

Mr. Smith is a venture capitalist specializing in corporate finance and development for publicly traded companies. Mr. Smith has a background in capital marketing and finance, and he formerly served as the Chief Executive Officer of Health Space DataSystems. Previously Mr. Smith was Chief Executive Officer of Western Pacific Resources Corp. (TSXV: WRP). During his tenure Mr. Smith raised over $36 million for the Company, bringing in a financial partner and management team to run Western Pacific’s primary asset at the time. Previously to this, Mr. Smith provided public and investor relations services for Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. (NYSE: FSM) and he was also a founder of Riverside Resources Inc. (TSXV: RRI). Mr. Smith brings with him extensive media contacts and a strategic capital markets network that have been built over a 15 year career.
Atul Jain

Mr. Jain is a leader in the environmental health profession. He is the past president of the Association of Supervisors of Public Health Inspectors of Ontario. Atul has spent over 15 years as a health protection professional and is currently Manager of Environmental Health at Peterborough Public Health.
